Matt has years of experience representing insurance carriers and their insureds in the area of workers’ compensation, trucking and automobile defense, with a special focus in the area of uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. He has quickly earned extensive and diverse trial experience by trying cases in the areas workers compensation, automobile wrecks, premises liability, arson, and guardianships and conservatorships.
Matt’s experience does not stop in the Courtroom. He has also successfully negotiated and drafted a six figure software development contract for a 2014 Inc. 500 Corporation as well as draft a six figure real estate contract. He has also prepared complex estate plans, business formations, and stock transfers.
Matt enjoys spending his free time with his lovely wife Shannon and his adorable son Luke. He also enjoys mountain biking with his friends at the local trails, and is a member of the Advisory Council for Holy Family Cristo-Rey Catholic school which helps provide a high quality education to an underserved area of Birmingham. Matt and his family are active members of the Cathedral of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, where he is also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
