Hal is a founding member of the firm. He was engaged in the active practice of law for over thirty five years before transitioning to a mentoring and counseling role with the Firm and in late 2015, he retired from the Firm. During the thirty five years of active practice he tried many jury cases as well as non-jury cases. He was involved with many multiple party coverage cases as well as multiple party product liability cases. He has argued cases before the Ala. Supreme Court and the Eleventh Court of Appeals.
Prior to attending law school, Hal held management positions with the Social Security Adm. and was self employed in the grocery and farming business. He is married and the father of two sons and a daughter and grandfather to six grandchildren. He is a Deacon in the Baptist church and is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.
